The Route 25 Agenda aims to position Portugal as an international benchmark in the research, development and industrialisation of advanced solutions for autonomous, intelligent, interoperable and inclusive driving. The consortium brings together leading companies and entities from the R&I system to raise the automotive and mobility industry to the top of the European value chain.
Within the scope of the Route 25 Agenda, TIS is part of Work Package 3 (WP3 - Connected Infrastructure for Resilient and Inclusive Cities), and is responsible for Task 3.4 (Assessment of societal and ethical impact of advanced mobility in urban scenarios).
TIS work focuses on:
- Social and Ethical Impact Assessment: Analysis of the social, ethical, accessibility and public acceptance implications associated with the introduction of autonomous and connected driving technologies in urban scenarios.
- National Roadmap: Preparation of the Technological and Social Roadmap for Autonomous Mobility at National Level, setting out strategic guidelines for an inclusive and safe transition in Portugal.
- Inclusion and Social Acceptance: Assessment of inclusive mobility models to ensure that new technological solutions respond to the needs of all citizens.
The project is funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP) and by the European Union’s NextGenerationEU funds, under Component C05 – Mobilising Agendas/Alliances for Business Innovation.
